     Not far from Browns Lake, you'll stumble on Corns Lake which is a delightful lake, and you're sure to come across some fine folks from Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Marietta here. Lakes are magnificent; Corn Lake is a lake that's in close proximity to Browns Lake. If you need a spot to stay Hampton Inn Atlanta-Town Center/Kennesaw is a good choice. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Browns Lake has to offer, you can camp at Atlanta North KOA. Browns  
   Lake is a rather wet place ordinarily with a great deal of precipitation; March is the month that gets the most rain while October is mostly the driest month.
There are some wonderful whitewater spots on Sweetwater Creek. There's so much to do here at Browns Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Kennesaw Koa Kampground is a wonderful spot for that. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Browns Lake, and during the night it cools down
 
               to the 60's. Highs during the winter are commonly in the 50's, and overnight lows in the 30's for Browns Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Rottenwood Creek for all you thrill seekers, and there's some attention-grabbing stuff to catch a glimpse of at Lake Somerset Dam near Browns Lake.
