Days Inn Lake Park/Valdosta is a fine place to get some rest; on a great day you can stop by Bear Garden Swamp, a swamp near Brown Pond. High temperatures at Brown Pond through the warmest time of the year are in the 90's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 60's while the cold winter nights at Brown Pond are in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Why not visit Whitewater Club Lake Dam since you're here,
