Going for a hike along the Town Creek Bike Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity; why not camp at Oconee River Campground and Picnic Area if you're here at Brooks Lake. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Brooks Lake with night lows in the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are generally in the 50's; nighttime lows in the 20's for Brooks Lake. can always go whitewater paddling on Skull Shoal Creek, and hiking along the Mounds Trail is brilliant fun. This lake is so wonderful. Big Clouds Creek is a good whitewater spot next to Brooks Lake.

Pond is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Brooks Lake, and do take a hike on the Falling Camp Trail. Brooks Lake Dam has tremendous water scenery and it's in the vicinity of Brooks Lake; camping is available at Watson Mill Bridge State Park.
