The high level of rain makes Brocks Lake a quite wet place; through the month of March you get the most rain around here while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Glide down the rapids of Big Cedar Creek in a kayak; after a long day outdoors Country Hearth Inn Cedartown is a great spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. A short spree to Cave Spring is always worthwhile, and a delightful       location close by is Vans Valley. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Brocks Lake. If you come at the right time of year, Johnnies Creek offers some good whitewater, and needless to say Little Cedar Creek flows through this area. Brocks Lake is not far at all from Rome, and you can stay the night at Rome-floyd County Recreation. There's so much to do here at Brocks Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lad Marina and Campground is a nice                  place for that. During the long summer days here at Brocks Lake, high temperatures usually get into the 90's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Brocks Lake.
