A visit to Britton Estates Lake is always a good idea. And if that's not enough, there's a load more to do next to Britton Estates Lake. Good hiking is available along the Mounds Trail, and a round of golf at nearby Lane Creek Golf Club is a tremendous way to kill some time. Britton Estates Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; throughout March this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is September.

Trail is a great local trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Rose Creek. Britton Estates Lake is not the only place close by, Bells Lake is a close by lake, and if you came to camp Oconee River Campground and Picnic Area is
a pleasant spot to do that. If only every site had this much outdoors exciting stuff, what a great globe it would be. If you come at the right time of year, Apalachee River offers some great whitewater, and there's a good forest called
Whitehall Forest.
There's so much to do here at Britton Estates Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Pine Lake RV Campground is a nice site for that, and while you're here, you could have a look at Calls Creek. During
the summertime at Britton Estates Lake highs are ordinarily in the 80's with night lows in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 50's, and night lows in the 20's for Britton Estates Lake.
