    It's always fun to stop by Brasswells Lake. On a perfect day at Brasswells Lake you can take a hike along the Allison Lake Wildlife Trail, and Ocmulgee National Monument is a very pleasant site to stop at. What a place this is for outdoors folks. There's so much to do here at Brasswells Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Church Campground is a glorious place for that; if you need a place to stay Macon Days Inn is a magnificent choice. After a long  
   day outdoors Gray Days Inn is a pleasant place to spend a night or two, of course you could also take a look at Anderson Lake while you're here; it's not far at all.
There is a splendid hiking trail in the neighborhood of Brasswells Lake called the Twin Bridges Trail, and there are plenty of folks from Macon here. Brasswells Lake is a quite wet place regularly with a good deal of rain; March is the month that gets the most rain, and October is the month with
 
               the least moisture. You can take a little visit to Brasswells Lake Dam while you're here at Brasswells Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. Brasswells Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Tobesofkee Recreation Area is a great local campground, and why not a little side spree to Feagin Hill Creek. Throughout the summertime months here at Brasswells Lake, high temperatures regularly get into the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's. For the period of the winter the highs are generally in the 50's, and night lows in the 30's for Brasswells Lake.
