Alcovy River is a magnificent whitewater spot near Boyle Lake Number Five; the Allison Lake Wildlife Trail is a great hiking trail nearby. Dry warm beds await you at Covington Days Inn, and if you don’t have a problem       getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on South River. This lake is so wonderful. High temperatures at Boyle Lake Number Five during the warm months are in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Boyle Lake Number Five. Boyle Lake Number Five gets a good deal of water; March is the month that gets                  the most rain; September on the other hand is the driest.
