Boyd Pond is not far at all from Valdosta, and if you need a place to stay Quality Inn Lake Park is a brilliant choice. Boyd Pond is a pretty wet place commonly with       much rain; July is the wettest month with most rain, and October on the other hand is the driest. For the period of the warmest time of the year at Boyd Pond highs are commonly in the 90's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 60's while Boyd Pond nighttime low temperatures through the winter are in the 30's. Boyd Pond is not the only spot close by, Lake Octahatechee is a close by lake; if you come at the                  right time of year, Turket Creek offers some good whitewater. So many enjoyable things to do at Boyd Pond, so little time.
