Summer at Boyd Pond comes with high temperatures in the 90's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. Throughout the wintertime highs are usually in the 60's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Boyd Pond temperatures sink to the 30's. Dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn Lake Park, and camping is available at Holiday Campground. This lake is so wonderful. This is a popular       place for folks from Valdosta, and if you've had enough of Boyd Pond, Enoch Pond is close by. So many fun things to do at Boyd Pond, so little time. Boyd Pond is a pretty wet place commonly with lots of precipitation; most of the rain falls throughout July, and October is when it's the driest. Get wet paddling on Turket Creek, and paddling on Alapahoochee River Grand Bay Canal) is so much fun.
