Bowen Pond is a nice lake to visit. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Heritage Mobile Home Community is always a glorious experience, and if you come at the right time of year, Stevens Creek offers some wonderful whitewater. All the water falling down from the sky makes Bowen Pond a wet spot; March is the wettest month with most rain, and November meanwhile is the driest month.

| | folks from Augusta-Richmond County; if you came to camp Forks Campground is a splendid place to do that. On a nice day at Bowen Pond you can take a hike along the Horn Creek Hiking Trail. Lakes? Sure, Lake Olmstead is in the neighborhood. Bowen Pond Dam is a spot that is in close proximity to Bowen Pond, and hey, Reed Creek is a tremendous local stream.

course called Augusta Golf Course; if you need a place to stay Courtyard By Marriott Augusta is a great choice. There is a good hiking trail near Bowen Pond called the Turkey Creek Hiking Trail, and since you might be in a lake visiting
mood you can always take a look at nearby Stewarts Ponds. Throughout the summer here at Bowen Pond, high temperatures regularly get into the 90's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 60's. Daytime highs all through the winter are
in the 50's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Bowen Pond temperatures plunge to the 30's.
After a long day outdoors Value Place Riverwatch is a great spot to spend a night or two, and float down the rapids of Savannah River in a kayak.
