At Borken Pond Dam next to Borken Pond there are some out of the ordinary things to see, and after a long day outdoors Days Inn Of Sylvania is a good place to spend a night or two. During your visit to Borken Pond you'll meet some folks from Statesboro for sure, and camping at Borken Pond is wonderful fun, Pinevale Campground is a wonderful local campground. All the water falling down from the       sky makes Borken Pond a wet location; July is when you get the most rain here, and November is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Bird Pond is a nearby lake that you could pop by, and let's not forget Dry Branch which is a stream that you may stumble upon while you're here. At Borken Pond throughout the summertime months highs are in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 60's.
