The high level of rain makes Bonnet Lake a reasonably wet site; July is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month is November. If you need a place to stay Days Inn Jesup is a good choice, and Big Harper Lake is a nice lake close by. Through the warm days of summer here at Bonnet Lake, high temperatures generally reach the 90's. Once the sun is       down it drops down to the 70's. For the duration of the winter the highs are regularly in the 60's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Bonnet Lake sink into the 30's. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Dry warm beds await you at Ramada Jesup, and since you're here at Bonnet Lake, checking out Big Water Oak Round is a must. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Hortense wesleyan Camp while you're here at Bonnet Lake,                  and swing by Diana Slough it's a fine place to have a look at.
