Just can't get enough of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The view of Piney Mountain from Bolton Lake is beautiful. Lakes are magnificent; Walker Mountain Lake is a lake that's near Bolton Lake. This site rocks, just look at all the amusing things to do close to Bolton Lake. Get covered with water paddling on Tesnatee Creek, and going for a hike on the Appalachian National Scenic Trail is always a good adventure. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Little River - East Fork; the Raven Cliff Falls Trail is a wonderful hiking trail close by. Mountains. Not far from Bolton Lake, you'll discover Whitmire Lake which is a stunning lake, and close by you locate the Whitly Gap Trail which is a perfect hiking trail. The Blue Ridge Mountains scenery is always beautiful. This
lake is so wonderful. Lots of folks from Gainesville come to Bolton Lake, and do go to Bolton Lake Dam since you're here. For the duration of the summer months, highs frequently are in the 80's at Bolton Lake. When the night sets
in temperatures sink down into the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's; after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Bolton Lake plunge into the 20's. Bolton Lake is a wet spot that gets a large amount of rain; March is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is October.
