If you are in this part of Georgia make sure to pay a visit to Blue Ridge Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Tearbritches Trail, and Douglas Inn & Suites is a perfect spot to get some rest. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn & Suites. There's so much to do here at Blue Ridge Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lakewood Landing Campground is a glorious location for that. That right there is plenty of exciting

There are good locations to discover along the Benton Mackaye Trail, and why not take a little spree to Creaseman Branch if you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Ridge Lake at all; a cool spot to go to is Hogback Bend. Blue Ridge Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Blue Ridge Campground is a great local campground, and there's always Blue Ridge Dam to pop by near Blue Ridge
Lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Great Smoky Mountains. Be careful coming to the Great Smoky Mountains, you might not ever want to return back home again. Go for a hike on the Rock Creek Trail; if you come at the right
time of year, Cartecay River offers some magnificent whitewater. High temperatures at Blue Ridge Lake throughout the months of summer are in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. For the period of the winter
the highs are regularly in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Blue Ridge Lake temperatures plunge to the 20's. Blue Ridge Lake frequently gets a large amount of rainfall; most of the rain falls all through March, and October on the other hand is the driest.
