Take a side tour to Big Branch, and Blankenship Pond is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Big Hart Campground is a pleasant local campground. Lots of rainfall falls at Blankenship Pond; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain; October on the other hand is the driest.       Through the summer months here at Blankenship Pond, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 60's.
