Blalock Ponds is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. The Blue Ridge Mountains scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of folks from Cornelia here; at Clear Lake Dam in the vicinity of Blalock Ponds there are some attention-grabbing things to see. Now, you may imagine that's a lot but there's even more cool things to do here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Going for a hike along the Appalachian National

| | Scenic Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and Blalock Ponds is right by the Raven Cliff Falls Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Clear Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to. There's so much to do here at Blalock Ponds that you need to camp here for a while, Mountain View Campground is a good site for that. you get a brilliant vista of Leadpole Mountain from Blalock Ponds, and dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Helen.
At Blalock Ponds through the long summer days highs are in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 60's.
Throughout the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Blalock Ponds. And that's not all you can do here at Blalock Ponds. Cleveland Days Inn is a pleasant place to get some rest;
hiking along the Whitly Gap Trail is tremendous fun. Float down the rapids of Chattahoochee River in a kayak. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Blalock Ponds has to offer, you can camp at Turner Campsites.

Ponds frequently gets much rainfall; the month with most of the rain is March while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
