This lake is so wonderful. Leadpole Mountain can be seen from Blalock Ponds, and Cleveland Days Inn is a good spot to get some rest. For the duration of the summertime, highs usually are in the 80's at Blalock Ponds. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and overnight lows at Blalock Ponds all through the wintertime       commonly drop into the 20's. Any time is a nice time at Blalock Ponds if you go for the outdoors. Seabolt Pond is a good lake near Blalock Ponds; going for a hike along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region.
