The beauty of Blalock Lake attracts many people from all around. Blalock Lake is a beautiful lake in the Blue Ridge Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Scaly Mountain; Quality Inn & Suites Mt. Chalet is a tremendous spot to get some rest. On a beautiful day you get a vista of Boggs Mountain from Blalock Lake, and if you're interested in hydro structures, you can check out Blalock Lake Dam.

| | get enough of the Blue Ridge Mountains. A round of golf at nearby Rabun County Golf Club is a tremendous way to kill some time, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Stekoa Creek. Really great skiing awaits you at Sky Valley; the Stewart Trail offers hiking at its best. You truly have to fancy Blalock Lake. Camping at Terrora Park Campground is always a delightful experience; Stekoa Falls is a great local attraction.

Blalock Lake is a pretty wet place generally with a great deal of precipitation; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month. If you come at the right time of year, Tiger
Creek offers some wonderful whitewater, and a glorious location to camp here at Blalock Lake is Terrora Campground. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Good hiking is available along the Bartram
Trail; Boen Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth a visit.
You assume that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Blalock Lake is not far at all from Toccoa. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Clayton-Days
Inn is a great site to spend a night or two, and there's nice hiking along the Chattooga Trail. During the summertime at Blalock Lake temperatures are generally in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. The
winter brings highs down to the 40's, and overnight lows all through the winter for Blalock Lake tend to be in the 20's.
