If you like lakes and you're in this part of Georgia you can check out Black Rock Lake. The Blue Ridge Mountains scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Blue Ridge Camp & Resort if you're here at Black Rock Lake, and Black Rock Lake is right by the Bartram Trail. At Black Rock Lake through the summer highs are in the 80's; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in

| | the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Black Rock Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Stewart Trail is brilliant fun, and enjoy a round of golf at Rabun County Golf Club. And that's not all you can do here at Black Rock Lake. Glide down the rapids of Stekoa Creek in a kayak; Mountain City Recreational Vehicle Park is a nice local campground. So many fun things to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains, not sufficient time.

Mountain is simple to spot from Black Rock Lake; after a long day outdoors Clayton-Days Inn is a tremendous place to spend a night or two. Really delightful skiing awaits you at Scaly Mountain; Gibson Gap is in the vicinity, and is
a nice place.
Skiing at Sky Valley is one of those things you just should do. Lakes? Sure, Cox Lake is in close proximity. A great deal of precipitation falls at Black Rock Lake; the wettest month of the year is frequently March,
that's the one that rains the most, and July on the other hand is the driest. If you have a thing about the outdoors you'll have a thing about it here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Billy Creek flows through this area, and going for
a hike along the Gage Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region.
You just can't picture the amount of outdoors cool things the area in the neighborhood of Black Rock Lake has to offer. Dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn & Suites Mt. Chalet; Black Rock Lake Dam is a place that is close to Black Rock Lake.
