    If you are in this part of Georgia make sure to pay a visit to Black Pond. Dry warm beds await you at Cornelia-Days Inn, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Chattahoochee River. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Black Pond is magnificent fun, Mountain Creek Grove Nudist is a magnificent local campground, and if you're going to from Cornelia, you won't be the only one. Black Pond is a relatively wet place usually with much rainfall; most of the rain falls  
   during March, and October meanwhile is the driest month.
There's always Hidden Valley Lake Dam to visit right next door to Black Pond, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Raven Cliff Falls Trail. Take a hike on the Appalachian National Scenic Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Mud Creek offers some great whitewater. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Black Pond with night lows in the 60's. For the period of the winter the highs are commonly
 
               in the 40's; nighttime lows during the wintertime for Black Pond tend to be in the 20's.
This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Whitly Gap Trail is delightful fun. If only every place had this much outdoors cool stuff, what a great world it would be. Black Pond is a magnificent location to camp, Union Grove Campground is a magnificent location, and Comfort Inn Cornelia is a good spot to get some rest. Amys Creek is a beautiful stream that is worth a visit, and almost certainly you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Adams Pond is just a very short distance away.
