Royal Inn Motel is a good site to get some rest, and camping at Scenic Mountain RV Park and Campground is always a tremendous experience. Black Lake is a wet place that gets a good deal of precipitation; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain, and October on the other hand is the driest. During the warm days of summer at Black Lake highs are regularly in       the 90's. Summer night lows fall down to the 60's. Through the winter highs are in the 50's, and overnight lows in the 30's for Black Lake. You'll meet a lot of folks from Milledgeville here, and don't forget to take a wonderful little tour to Crooked Shank. After a long day outdoors Budget Inn is a perfect spot to spend a night or two.
