Black Lake is a lake worth visiting. There's nice hiking along the Raven Cliff Falls Trail; if you're here, you could also go to scenic Hills Lake. Man, is there a heap of cool stuff to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Don't leave Black Lake without first going for a hike along the Whitly Gap Trail, and you can stay the night at Brookside Camp Ground. is a wonderful spot, and Black Lake is a place with many visitors from Gainesville. Man, is there loads of exciting things to do in close proximity to Black Lake. Pura Vida USA is a pleasant place to get some rest, and float down
the rapids of Chestatee River in a kayak.
This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Black Lake; Appalachian National Scenic Trail is a great local trail. Black Lake is a wet place that gets much precipitation;
the month with most of the rain is March while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is one of the great places here in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Glade Branch is a tremendous local stream; get covered with water paddling on Tesnatee Creek.
