    Many people like to go to Black Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Interstate RV Center and Campground is always a good experience. If you came to camp Tobesofkee Recreation Area is a wonderful location to do that, and Black Lake is not the only place close by, Stone Lake is a close by lake. This lake is so wonderful. You're sure to encounter some great people from Macon here, and Ramada Plaza Hotel Macon is a pleasant site to get some rest.
Summertime
 
   highs at Black Lake generally tend to be in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. During the wintertime the highs are usually in the 50's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Black Lake temperatures sink to the 30's. Black Lake is a wet site that gets a lot of precipitation; throughout March this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is October. Having a great time at Black Lake is simple. A visit to Ocmulgee National Monument is worthwhile;  
               a fine close by hotel is Macon Days Inn.
Why not take a look at nearby Boggy Branch while you're here at Black Lake, and a lake nearby is Walker Lakes. Don't leave Black Lake without first checking out Ocmulgee National Monument, and golf can be played at Bowden Golf Course. From Black Lake you get a good sight of Lamar Mounds; going for a hike on the Allison Lake Wildlife Trail is always a great adventure.
