A journey to Ocmulgee National Monument is worthwhile, and golf can be played at Bowden Golf Course. Take a side tour to Boggy Branch; Macon Days Inn is a good place to get some rest. If you came to camp Church Campground is a nice site to do that; the summit of Lamar Mounds can be distinguished from Black Lake. During the long summer days here at Black Lake, high temperatures generally reach the 80's. For       the duration of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's. Highs through the wintertime are usually in the 50's; overnight lows in the 30's for Black Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Black Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Tobesofkee Recreation Area is a pleasant spot for that, and dry warm beds await you at River View Hotel and Ballroom. Black Lake gets a great deal of water; the month of March is the wettest with                  most of the rain, and October meanwhile is the driest month. The Allison Lake Wildlife Trail offers hiking at its best, and not far from Black Lake you'll find Walker Lakes which is a picturesque lake. This lake is so wonderful. This is no location for people who don’t like to have fun.
