Hammocks Branch flows through this area, and Days Inn is a fine spot to get some rest. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the neighborhood of Birdsong Pond. Birdsong Pond is not far at all from Macon, and Birdsong Pond Dam is beautiful. If you came to camp Scenic Mountain RV Park and Campground is a delightful place to do that, unsurprisingly you could also stop at Harrisons       Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Birdsong Pond. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 60's. For the period of the wintertime highs are commonly in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Birdsong Pond are in the 30's.
