Why not camp at High Falls Campground if you're here at Binford Lake, and do have a look at Lake Maude, it's a beautiful lake. The high level of rainfall makes Binford Lake a reasonably wet spot; March is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month is October. Through the months of summer, highs generally are in the 90's at Binford Lake, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The wintertime       comes with highs in the 50's; nighttime lows at Binford Lake through the winter ordinarily dip into the 30's. Binford Dam is not far at all from Binford Lake; get yourself into a kayak and hit Flint River. Any time is a tremendous time at Binford Lake if you go for the outdoors. Camping is available at Heart of Georgia RV Park, and float down the rapids of Potato Creek in a kayak. There are plenty of folks from Thomaston here at Binford Lake, and a good close                  by hotel is Econo Lodge Thomaston. Enjoy a round of golf at Hickory Ridge Golf Club not far from Binford Lake; some close by water includes Weatherford Branch. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Thomaston-Days Inn is a nice choice, and you'll discover a striking lake called Bickley Lake.
