The high level of rain makes Big Water Lake a relatively wet place; August is the month that gets the most rain; October is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Best Western Bradbury Inn & Suites is a tremendous       location to spend a night or two, and you can have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Indian Trail. Summer at Big Water Lake comes with high temperatures in the 90's while nighttime lows are typically in the 70's. Highs during the winter are commonly in the 60's while the cold winter nights at Big Water Lake are in the 30's. Big Water Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Traders Hill Recreation Area is a great local campground; hiking                  along the Okefenokee Wilderness Canoe Trail is great fun. This is a popular spot for folks from Waycross; camping at Lazy Acres Mobile Park and RV is always a tremendous experience. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Big Water Lake.
