| | place to stay Stage Coach Motel is a delightful choice. Through the summertime months at Big Pond highs are ordinarily in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 60's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 60's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Big Pond dip into the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Shady Oaks Campground, as expected you could also stop by Hancock Pond since you're here; it's not far at all. At Big Pond you always meet someone from Valdosta.
