At Big Lake throughout the warm months highs are in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 60's. For the period of the wintertime highs are mostly in the 60's; night lows in the 40's for Big Lake. Big Lake truly is in the middle of a gorgeous outdoors paradise. This lake is so wonderful. Big Lake is right       by the Indian Trail, and Okefenokee RV Campground is a great campground nearby. If you need a spot to stay Best Western Bradbury Inn & Suites is a tremendous choice; Traders Hill Recreation Area is a pleasant local campground. The Okefenokee Wilderness Canoe Trail offers hiking at its best, and Long Lake is a tremendous lake close by.
