Sure, Little Lake is nearby; if you came for an overnight stay Seminole State Park is a good place to camp. What a spot this is for outdoors people. High temperatures at Big Lake through the summer months are in the 90's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Big Lake dip into the 30's. There are other places here than Big Lake,       for example Cypress Lake, and camping is available at Spring Creek Park Resort. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Big Lake there are plenty of folks from Bainbridge; Days Inn Donalsonville is a nice site to get some rest. Big Lake usually gets lots of precipitation; all through March this area sees the most rain, and October meanwhile is the driest month.
