Camping at Okefenokee Pastimes is always a fine experience; you can go for a hike on the Indian Trail. Big Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and October on the other hand is the driest. During the long summer days highs here at Big Lake reach the 90's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures fall       down into the 70's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 60's; after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Big Lake plunge into the 30's. After a long day outdoors Best Western Bradbury Inn & Suites is a delightful location to spend a night or two; Big Lake is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Traders Hill Recreation Area is a delightful local campground.
