The high level of rain makes Bickley Lake a pretty wet place; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain while October is frequently the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. There are some tremendous whitewater spots on Lazer Creek; Hickory Ridge Golf Club is a golf course nearby. If you're here at Bickley Lake, you could have a look at Weatherford Branch; get yourself into a kayak and hit Potato       Creek. This is no site for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Camping at Heart of Georgia RV Park is always a nice experience, and Bickley Dam is a place that is close to Bickley Lake. A great location to camp here at Bickley Lake is High Falls Campground, and Thomaston-Days Inn is a great place to get some rest. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Bickley Lake. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 60's. During the winter highs                  are in the 50's; nighttime lows during the wintertime for Bickley Lake tend to be in the 30's.
