A lake close by is Bickerstaff Lake South; you can stay the night at Valley Inn Resort. All the water falling down from the sky makes Bickerstaff       Lake a wet spot; the month with most of the rain is July, and October is when it's the driest. Now, you may assume that's a load but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Bickerstaff Lake. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Bickerstaff Lake has to offer, you can camp at Pine Mountain Family Campground, and Bickerstaff Lake Dam is a beautiful place, definitely worth stopping at. Blue Spring Branch is a great local stream. Here at                  Bickerstaff Lake you'll probably meet some people from Columbus, and Mulberry Creek has a great whitewater paddling spot close by.
