Why not camp at Poplar Springs Roadside Campground since you're here at Berrong Lake, and if you're here, you could also take a look at striking Hall Creek Watershed Number 25 Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Thorn Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region; a glorious nearby hotel is Ramada Lake Chatuge Lodge of Hiawassee. Yeah, come       here to Berrong Lake for a tremendous time. On a great day at Berrong Lake you can take a hike along the Arkaquah Trail, and Tantrough Cove is in close proximity and always good to pop by. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is pleasant here at Berrong Lake, you can go for a hike along the Hurricane Creek Trail; Hall Creek Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by. That right there is a load of cool things already but it goes on, the Blue Ridge Mountains                  has it all. Get covered with water paddling on Tallulah River, and nearby you hit upon pleasant places like Andy Gap. Camping is available at River Bend, and why not a little side journey to Carter Branch. If you need a spot to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites HIAWASSEE is a brilliant choice, and the skiing at Sky Valley is nice. Be careful coming to the Blue Ridge Mountains, you might not ever wanna go home again. There's some interesting stuff to see at Berrong Lake Dam near Berrong Lake; whitewater paddling is wonderful on Moccasin Creek. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Berrong Lake is one of the lakes here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Throughout the months of summer at Berrong Lake highs are commonly in the 80's while night lows are frequently in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's; overnight lows through the wintertime for Berrong Lake tend to be in the 20's. You get a great sight of Berrong Mountain from Berrong Lake, and Cypher Cove is a glorious place.
