Georgia has many beautiful lakes and Benny Meyers Lake is one of them. This lake is so wonderful. The Falling Camp Trail offers hiking at its best. If you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Rose Creek, and camping at Oconee River Campground and Picnic Area is always a brilliant experience. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Mounds Trail, and you'll come across a wonderful lake called Pettit Lake.

A great place to camp here at Benny Meyers Lake is Watson Mill Bridge State Park, and a perfect close by hotel is Foundry Park Inn & Spa. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Comfort Suites Athens is a fine choice; do go to Thompson Lake, it's a gorgeous lake.
