If you came for an overnight stay Pine Lake RV Campground is a great spot to camp; Bells Lake is a site with many visitors from Athens-Clarke County. This lake is so wonderful. The Scull Shoals Trail offers       hiking at its best, and Bells Lake Dam is a picturesque spot. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Lane Creek Golf Club is in the neighborhood, and there's whitewater on Rose Creek for all you adrenaline people. Lampkin Branch flows through this region, and you can run the rapids of Apalachee River. Summertime at Bells Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. All through the winter highs                  are typically in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Bells Lake.
