Many people like to go to Beck Lake. For the period of the warm months at Beck Lake highs are generally in the 80's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Beck Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Beck Lake is tremendous fun, Twin Lakes Park is a tremendous local campground, and the scenery at Beck Lake Dam is beautiful. Much precipitation falls at Beck Lake; March is the month that gets the most rain; October is when it's the driest. A tour to Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area is worthwhile, and a round of golf at nearby Woodmont Golf Club is a delightful way to kill some time. This lake is so wonderful. Big Creek is a great whitewater
spot in close proximity to Beck Lake, and Homestead Inn is a nice site to get some rest. Going for a hike along the Brookshire Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area; dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Canton.
