Soar down the rapids of Chattahoochee River in a kayak, and Beaver Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Anthony's Mobile Park is a great local campground. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Mulberry Creek. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Beaver Lake. A great close by hotel is Home-Towne Suites - Columbus, and enjoy a round of golf at Bull Creek Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. Take a little       tour to Flatrock Branch if you're here at Beaver Lake; Beaver Lake is not far at all from Columbus. Lakes are brilliant; Anthony Lake is a lake that's close to Beaver Lake, and after a long day outdoors American Valley Inns is a good spot to spend a night or two. Woodruff Dam is a location that is near Beaver Lake, and if you came to camp Lake Pines Camp Ground is a wonderful site to do that. Summertime highs at Beaver Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 90's.                  Once the sun is down it drops down to the 60's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 50's, and night lows at Beaver Lake throughout the winter commonly sink into the 30's.
