Why not stop by Bearden Lake if you're passing through these parts. This lake is so wonderful. Enjoy a round of golf at Godwin Creek Golf Course not far from Bearden Lake, and Bearden Dam is pretty. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Mulberry Creek; lots of folks from Columbus come here.

| | And Suites Columbus North is a pleasant site to get some rest. If you came for an overnight stay Lake Pines Camp Ground is a good place to camp, and a tremendous nearby hotel is Country Inn And Suites By Carlson Columbus. High temperatures at Bearden Lake during the long summer days are in the 90's. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 60's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Bearden Lake are in the 30's.

A great deal of rainfall falls at Bearden Lake; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is October. Why not camp at Sawyer's Mobile Home Estates if you're here at Bearden Lake, and there's whitewater on Chattahoochee River for all you adrenaline rush seekers.
