Sure, Beall Pond Two is nearby; if you come at the right time of year, Little River offers some tremendous whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Oconee Center is a nice local campground, and the Twin Bridges Trail is a tremendous hiking trail close by. There are other sites here than Beall Lake, for example Beall Pond One; lots of people from Milledgeville come here. Beall Lake is a wet place that gets much precipitation; March is the wettest       month with most rain, and October on the other hand is the driest. And if that's not sufficient, there's a load more to do in the vicinity of Beall Lake. An afternoon playing golf at Uncle Remus Golf Course is always a joy, and after a long day outdoors The Lodge On Lake Oconee is a magnificent spot to spend a night or two. Very fine water scenery is available at Beall Lake Dam near Beall Lake, and there's some flowing water close by, Tanyard Branch is a                  stream you can have a look at while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. There is a great hiking trail right next door to Beall Lake called the Town Creek Bike Trail. Through the summer, highs frequently are in the 90's at Beall Lake while overnight lows are mostly in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's while Beall Lake nighttime low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 30's.
