This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Baxter Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Yogi Bear's Jellystone Camp-Resort is a brilliant place for that, and near Baxter Lake you discover a golf course called The Lion Golf Club. If you need a place to stay Bremen Days Inn is a pleasant choice; get wet paddling on Snake River. Baxter Lake is not the only location nearby, Hatfields Lake       is a nearby lake, and whitewater paddling is fine on Whooping Creek. Baxter Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, John Tanner State Park is a tremendous local campground, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Baxter Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Baxter Lake ordinarily gets a good deal of precipitation; March is the month that gets the most rain while October is regularly the driest month. Here at Baxter Lake you'll probably                  meet some folks from Cedartown, and Little River Structure Number Two Dam has brilliant water scenery.
