This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is great on Little River. This lake is so wonderful. The panoramas at Ocmulgee National Monument will blow your mind, and if you need a location to stay Days Inn Macon East is a nice choice. Bateman Lake Dam is a beautiful place right next door to Bateman Lake, and Walker Lake is a nearby       lake that you could pop by. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Bateman Lake. Do explore Anderson Lake in close proximity to Bateman Lake, it's a pretty lake, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Jones County Lake Jonesco Golf Course is close at hand. Here at Bateman Lake you'll perhaps meet some people from Macon; dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Gray. Bateman Lake gets much water; March is the month that gets the most                  rain, and the driest of the months is October. High temperatures at Bateman Lake all through the warm days of summer are in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 60's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 50's, and night lows in the 30's for Bateman Lake.
