All the water falling down from the sky makes Bartholomew Lake a wet location; all through March this area sees the most rain, and October is when it's the driest. Comfort Inn Canton is a delightful location to get some rest; there are plenty of folks from Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Marietta here at Bartholomew Lake. Stay the       night at Under the Hemlock; a golf course close by is Woodmont Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Homestead Inn is a great choice, and if time allows, Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area is a national park worth stopping at. If you fancy the outdoors, you'll go for Bartholomew Lake. In the event that you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Long Swamp Creek.
