Get wet paddling on Chattahoochee River, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by close by Ellers Lake. Don't leave Barrett Pond without first going for a hike along the Raven Cliff Falls Trail,       and camping at Lake Russell Campground is always a brilliant experience. Throughout the days of summer highs here at Barrett Pond reach the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 60's. Highs during the wintertime are generally in the 40's, and night lows through the winter for Barrett Pond tend to be in the 20's.
