There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Barrett Pond. Get yourself into       a kayak and hit Chattahoochee River. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Barrett Pond, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. Highs during the winter are commonly in the 40's; through the dark hours in the winter at Barrett Pond temperatures drop to the 20's. If you need a site to stay Cornelia-Days Inn is a great choice, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at nearby Ellers Lake.
