Barrett Lakes sees pretty high levels of rain; March is the wettest month with most rain; October on the other hand is the driest. After a long day outdoors Best Western Inn Of Dalton is a good location to spend a night or two, and if the weather is pleasant, you can go for a hike along the Grassy Mountain Tower Trail. Hackney Spring is a picturesque place to stop by while you're at Barrett Lakes, and paddling       on Mill Creek is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. One of the main features of the surroundings of Barrett Lakes is Gobblers Knob, and close by you locate the Conasauga River Trail which is a good hiking trail. Camping is available at Chattanooga North KOA, and getting to Blue Branch from Barrett Lakes is easy. This location is unbeatable, just explore all the cool things to do right next door to Barrett Lakes. Lakes are glorious; Barrett Lake is a lake that's near Barrett Lakes, and the Songbird Trail is a perfect hiking trail close by. This lake is so wonderful. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can have a look at Barrett Lake Dam; the fine people of Dalton like to hang out close by.
