A great location for whitewater paddling near Barney Lake is Annewakee River, and enjoy a round of golf at Greystone Golf Course. Park, and if you haven’t been to Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail, you have to schedule some time for it if you're here. A great deal of rainfall falls at Barney Lake; March is the wettest month with most rain while October is frequently the driest month.
