High temperatures at Ball Lake through the summer months are in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 40's with temperatures at Ball Lake dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. At Mill Canton Structure Number Three Dam near Ball Lake there are some exciting       things to see; if you need a spot to stay Oakwood at Camden Deerfield is a brilliant choice. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Woodmont Golf Club, and Dean Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by. Ball Lake generally gets a lot of rain; all through the month of March you get the most rain around here while October is generally the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. This is a popular spot for folks from Atlanta-Sandy                  Springs-Marietta, and Ball Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Sawnee Campground is a wonderful local campground. The views at Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area will blow your mind, and why not check out close by Buzzard Flapper Creek while you're here at Ball Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful site for whitewater paddling right next door to Ball Lake is Amicalola Creek, and if you came to camp Twin Lakes Park is a pleasant location to do that. That right there is a heap already, but it carries on; Ball Lake has it all.
