If time allows, Ocmulgee National Monument is a national park worth stopping at, and you'll probably meet some people from Macon here. You can take a little journey to Baker Lake Dam since you're here at Baker Lake; Macon Marriott City Center is a splendid place to get some rest. If you need a location to stay Days Inn Macon East is a nice choice. This lake is so wonderful. Bowden Golf Course is a good golf course close by, and hiking along the Allison Lake
   Wildlife Trail is magnificent fun.
Baker Lake is a relatively wet place frequently with a great deal of rain; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain, and October meanwhile is the driest month. If you came to camp Tobesofkee Recreation Area is a wonderful place to do that, and you're possibly into lakes, Sawyer Lake is one of those nearby. Summertime highs at Baker Lake typically tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures

plunge down into the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Baker Lake.
So much cool stuff in the neighborhood of Baker Lake, truly amazing. Camping at Interstate RV Center and Campground is always a magnificent experience, and probably you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Cauley Lake is just a very short distance away.

Lake Tobesofkee

Lake Tobesofkee is an excellent get-away for PWC riding and just ''hanging out'' with friends and family.  Very clean beaches, picnic and camping areas, my experiences over the past three years have been nothing but positive.  Friendly and knowledgable employees, Rangers and visitors, Lake Tobo is definitely a top place to enjoy the warm Georgia weather for a weekend or weekday....
