This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Days Inn Augusta / Deans Bridge Road is a magnificent location to spend a night or two; a golf course nearby is Pointe South Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Savannah River for all you adrenaline people; when you're here it's always       fun to have a look at Hamilton Branch State Park. If only every site had this much outdoors fun things, what a great world it would be. You'll meet a lot of folks from Blythe here, and if you came for an overnight stay Fox Hollow Camp Ground is a fine place to camp. Byron Mobile Home and Camper is a magnificent campground nearby; Babcock Wilcox Lake is not the only location close by, Rhodes Pond is a close by lake. The high level of precipitation makes Babcock                  Wilcox Lake a reasonably wet spot; during the month of March you get the most rain around here, and November is the month with the least moisture. Some close by water includes Grindstone Branch, and if you've had enough of Babcock Wilcox Lake, Carrolls Lake is nearby. At Babcock Wilcox Lake throughout the summertime highs are in the 90's.
