High temperatures at Ayers Pond through the summer are in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 60's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Ayers Pond are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling       is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Chauga River, and if you need a place to stay Knights Inn & Suites Toccoa is a wonderful choice. A lake close by is Mag Creek Pond, and camping is available at Sunset Campground. Man, is there plenty of cool stuff to do right next door to Ayers Pond. Ayers Pond is in close proximity to Victoria Bryant State Park which is a pretty spot, and Toccoa City Golf Course is a golf course nearby. Ayers Pond is a rather                  wet place mostly with a large amount of precipitation; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is October. Ayers Pond is right by the Chattooga Trail, and if you're interested in hydro structures, you can pop by North Fork Broad River Structure Five Dam. A great close by hotel is Days Inn Toccoa, and if you get bored of Ayers Pond you could also go to close by Reservoir 11. This lake is so wonderful.
