After a long day outdoors Days Inn is a great location to spend a night or two, and why not camp at Lake Russell Campground since you're here at Ayers Pond. A magnificent close by hotel is Toccoa Inn & Suites; there's whitewater on Big Panther Creek for all you adrenaline junkies. All through the months of summer at Ayers Pond temperatures are mostly in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. Highs       throughout the winter are frequently in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Ayers Pond are in the 20's. Ayers Pond is right next door to Victoria Bryant State Park which is a lovely place; the wonderful folks of Carnesville like to hang out close by. This lake is so wonderful. There are some splendid whitewater spots on Nancy Town River, and camping at Ayers Pond is delightful fun, Hazel Creek RV Park is a delightful local campground.
