     A great close by hotel is Super 8 Motel - Bainbridge, and a lake close by is Cane Water Pond. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Jameson Inn Bainbridge is a great choice; camping is available at Wingate's Lodge Restaurant Marina and RV Park. A lot of precipitation falls at Avery Pond; throughout the month of March you get the most rain around here, and October is when it's the driest. At Avery Pond all through the warm months highs are in
the 90's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 70's. The winter brings highs down to the 60's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Avery Pond.
A tremendous spot to camp here at Avery Pond is Flint River KOA, and you'll most likely meet some folks from Bainbridge here. Avery Pond is not the only spot close by, Black Lake is a close by lake.
