Don't leave Athens YMCA Camp Lake without first going for a hike along the Stewart Trail, and at Athens YMCA Camp Lake you can see Apple Pie Mountain. All through the warm days of summer, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Athens YMCA Camp Lake. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 60's.

on Tallulah River; hey, Gotta ski right? Scaly Mountain is a tremendous location to do that. Athens YMCA Camp Dam is not far at all from Athens YMCA Camp Lake; dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn & Suites Mt. Chalet.
You just
can't envision the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the Blue Ridge Mountains has to offer. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by close by Blalock Lake, and everybody close by loves skiing at Sky Valley.
But wait, there's more amusing stuff to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Tallulah Gorge State Park is a pleasant campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Cascade Falls is a wonderful spot to visit while you're at Athens YMCA Camp
Lake, and if you need a spot to stay Clayton-Days Inn is a fine choice.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. You'll meet a lot of people from Cornelia here, and going for a hike on the Bartram Trail is always a pleasant adventure.
